Unlimited Hosting – Almost all web hosting provider out there and even the small ones a.k.a resellers are saying that they are providing unlimited hosting but read the terms and conditions and you will find out that unlimited hosting actually means that they can provide unlimited hosting for additional fee. Another scenario, I signed up for an unlimited hosting and yes.. it is indeed an unlimited hosting but here’s what I dont know, MySQL database is limited to only 5 databases! and also subdomains is limited to 5 and you cannot upload files that are not html, css or PHP. So no videos and other executable software such as those used in client/server are allowed. The hosting is indeed unlimited but the support is limited.

Unlimited Sub-domain – Whats the point of unlimited subdomain if you can only have a maximum of 5 MySQL databases. Sure, you can use it to create static html pages but what if you want to install more wordpress sites for landing pages and as we all know wordpress and all.. yes ALL CMS requires databases.

Unlimited Bandwidth – I bumped to this local hosting and domain provider and there it says on their landing page “Unlimited Bandwidth of your Maximum Bandwidth for a day!” and i was like.. whoa! I scratched my head because I surely didn’t understand their subtitle. I decided to email their techsupport and asked what it means. What it actually means is that your maximum bandwidth can be consumed unlimitedly in one day. So I asked what will happen the next day when my bandwidth got maxed out in that day. They did not reply.
