We always talk about domains but not what to do with that. Recently a friend of mine had a great idea. He didn’t realize how good it was until I explained the value of a domain name. He got the domain name as the first and last name of his newly born son. The reason he did this was to take pictures of his child and chronicle his birth as well as some of his upcoming years. I think is a great idea and much better than a photo album.

Now here is why I think is an amazing idea. We all know the value of a domain name once it has been registered and online gaining links in. It has instant value. The value that has is that it takes a while for a website to become listed in a search engine. But the longer the site is that around and the longer it’s been in the search engine and the more links going in and out more value as. So not only is a great idea to chronicle his child’s upbringing and growth but now he can give the domain to his son years later. The beauty is that now his son will have an account, his own domain is on site has been around for a long time obtaining value. I think this is a great idea and a great way to give his son something that no one else would’ve thought of in the future.
