Angies List Promo Code

Alex — Fri, 22 Apr 2011 18:48:07 +0000

I need to have my PC fixed, but hiring someone to fix a computer is always nerve-wracking. Admittedly, I don’t know that much about PC hardware, and that creates a situation where the repair person can take advantage of me. They know a lot about computers, and I don’t, if they are unethical, they can exploit this asymmetry of information and charge me too much for repairs or do unnecessary repairs on my computer, lie to me about the price of parts, or even charge me for a repair that hasn’t been done. A computer repair person is kind of like an auto mechanic, you need to find an honest one or else you will be taken advantage of.

I’m going to use Angieslist.com to find a good computer repair service. Angie’s List provides honest, content-verified reviews of professionals and people who provide various services such as gardeners, hair salons, doctors, exterminators, and yes, computer repair. It costs a little bit of money to use Angieslist, but it’s pretty cheap and definitely worth taking the risk out of letting someone work on my computer. You can use Angie’s List particularly cheap right now if you use this Angies List promo Code

Now that I have access to Angie’s List, I’m going to use them to find a new dentist and a dog groomer as well. It takes all the guess work out of hiring someone new, and if someone is going to be providing me medical services or handling my dog, I want to make sure it’s someone who I can trust. Angieslist will help you find trustworthy professionals for pretty much anything you can think of, so in my opinion it’s definitely worth the small fee to always have access to trusted professionals. So go ahead and try out one of the coupon codes above, I think you’ll find that it pays off.

Who Do You Use For Hosting, Domains, and SSL?

Alex — Mon, 18 Apr 2011 23:46:52 +0000

With all this talk about running a website, it’s worth talking about and exploring the various providers of website services. We’ve certainly went through our share of hosting providers and some of them were a real nightmare to deal with. Having reliable domain name registration, hosting, SSL certificates and security, marketing and email service is just as important as designing your site and doing the SEO. If your site experiences downtime, that’s an easy way to lose users and customers, and the search engines will likely take your site out of their listings if they try to access it and the link is dead.

That’s why choosing the right service providers is important. It’s also important because you want to get the best price and not pay through the nose. I trust Register.com, they are an extremely reliable source for website tools including hosting, domain name registration, SSL certificates, stats and marketing. Right now with this special register.com coupon, you can even save up to 25%, making it very cost-effective as well as reliable.

The best part is having everything in one place, only one account to mess around with. Anyways, try register.com out and let us know what you think. If you find a better deal out there let us know.

Use Promo Codes and Coupons!

Emman Alcide — Sun, 30 Jan 2011 14:46:04 +0000

Everytime I encounter promo codes and coupons in the web I always got hesitant and doubtful and always avoid them. It is actually a good practice because as well all know, if its too good to be true then its not good at all especially here in the web. But having registered loads of websites in top servers like godaddy and hostgator, I discovered something, you can actually save up with your domain names and hosting by using the promo codes and coupons. And imagine if I have been using them for a long time now. I could have saved up to 50% of my hosting and domain expenses.

I discovered the promo codes and coupons when I am talking to a technical support of the hosting provider of one of my clients. The tech support asked me if I wanted to upgrade the account to a resellers account so that I could save in registering domains and hosting but since I am a freelance web developer, the hosting and domain name concerns usually is in the hands of my clients, I just populate their empty websites with designs and contents. Before my conversation with the tech. support ended, I asked him if there are other ways in which I could save on domains and hosting fees for my own websites since I am planning to also have my own websites that hopefully well have some revenues and he advised me to use promo codes and coupons.

The discounts that you get can actually reach up to 50% and thats a lot of savings. The promo codes and coupons works when you register for a new domain or renew an existing domain. Just like the usual process, you purchase a new domain by checking if its available and before you check out, there’s a textbox there that asks for a promo code and voila! you just got a discounted domain and hosting fee!

Almost all of the top domain and hosting providers and even resellers have promo codes and coupons like hostgator, bluehost and network solutions but the hosting and domain provider that I found with the biggest discounts are in godaddy.com and some of their coupons does not expire which means its not just one time use and its a jackpot for freelance web developers like me.

Here are some valid and working godaddy promo codes and coupons.

Personalized Domain Extension… anyone?

Emman Alcide — Thu, 25 Nov 2010 02:51:22 +0000

Our society is living the “.com” age now but aren’t you tired of .com? Well if your developing a company website then “.com” is the appropriate extension but if it’s a personal website then don’t you think it would be better to have a more personalized domain extension. Obviously, you can’t use .org because its for non-profit organization (unless you are a philanthropist) or .net because you are not an I.T. company. I have a suggestion, how about “.me” instead?

I was checking out the discounts in godaddy for the .com domains and got overwhelmed in the bargain that I am getting but I was more ecstatic when I saw another bargain – Domain Sale in other Domain Extensions! You can start your domain name registration with this article.

Years ago, customized domain extensions like .info, .me, .tv, .us, .ca and other domain extensions that are not .com, .org or .net are expensive and can cost up to 10 X the cost of a .com domain extension but now some are actually much cheaper.

Why get a personalized domain? Simple, use it for better promotion. It’s an easy and affordable way of promoting whatever it is that you want to promote. If its about your personal life like your hobbies, your thoughts (blogging) then how about getting a .me or about a t.v. show then get .tv domain. For me, domain names are investments, with domain providers offers like the promos in godaddy, everyone can get domain names and reserve it for later use or once it gets lots of traffic and attention from web users, turn it into a money-making website or auction it.

So why not get a domain now or domains before the promo ends or your dream domain name got taken by someone else.

I actually just got my .me domain.
